Python/Django Developer - Amsterdam

I am looking for a Python Engineer to help with a transition to Amazon Web Services.

These services are exposed as API's which are consumed by back and Front End applications of my clients websites. For this role it is important to have experience with developing high traffic applications as these services cover the traffic combined by their websites.

The developer will work in a team of 2 developers in an Agile workflow supported by the scrum master.

PRIMARY ROLE FOR THIS DEVELOPER IS TO ASSIST IN OUR TRANSITION TO AMAZON. THE FOCUS FOR THIS ROLE WILL NOT BE PROGRAMMING BUT WILL BE TO ASSIST MOVING ASSETS TO AMAZON EC2.

Technical skills:

Required:

- Python + Django, Flask or similar framework
- Experience with high traffic/performance architecture
- Experienced with NoSQL databases (such as mongo DB)
- Cloud techniques such as Amazon EC2 and Openstack
- Provisioning techniques such as puppet or chef
- Excellent linux skills

Nice to have:

- Proxy technicques (varnish, ngnix )
- Scrum
- Testdriven development + CI + peer reviews
- Experienced with RESTful services
