Python Developer (C++) - London - Contract - Banking

Developer (Python/C++) urgently required by a Tier One bank for a contract role in London.

Working on a Credit Risk platform, this person will work to improve system functionality within the business and complete a project focused around migration of web applications.

The person must be comfortable working in an agile environment, possess a genuine passion for coding and be able to work well in a team of developers.

Python is essential for this person, but the successful candidate does not necessarily have to have demonstrated this within Banking.

A background in distributed systems, and experience of OO languages and databases is imperative.

Of course, Financial sector experience is desirable, as is knowledge of TDD and Agile work practices.

It is essential that all applicants can demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively with other areas of the business and increase efficiency for the bank.
