Python Developer

For one of the most visited websites in the Netherlands (E-commerce) I am looking for a Python Developer.

Context
In this position you will design and implement internal tooling for the life cycle management of cloud projects for eBay's internal customers. You ensure code quality and maintainability and collaborate with other team members and engineers

Since you will also be responsible for gathering the requirements from the business, my ideal candidate has experience in a smaller start-up (alike) environment. Reason is that you have to be creative with solutions, able to speak up (to the business) and feel comfortable with several responsibilities.

Next to that it's a big plus if you have experience in a bigger (E-commerce) environment, related to concepts such as High Availability, Scalability, and Distributed Systems.

YOUR PROFILE

- Good knowledge of Python, its frameworks, and (non-) relational databases
- Good knowledge of HTML/CSS, Javascript and its frameworks
- Passion for agile software development, product discovery and continuous deployment
- High aspiration for quality balanced with a good sense of pragmatism
- Effective oral and written English communication skills
- Bonus: experience with OpenStack and/or GCP
