Python Developer

DAY-TO-DAY KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Python developer will be responsible for writing code to build application interfaces (APIs) for Anti-Abuse and Anti-SPAM services. This includes creating detailed design, coding, unit testing, system testing and deployment activities. In addition the developer is also expected to think out of the box and provide solutions that is fit for purpose in the email environment. Note that this skill does not exist within the current team and hence the team manager will rely on the developers expertise and guidance based on the high level requirements.

It will be ideal if the developer is NL based so he/she can sit alongside the team to speed up communication. It may be feasible for the developer to be initially available in NL (Schiphol-Rijk) and then based remote when the detailed scope is understood and agreed.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS

Python developer with reasonable (3+ years.) experience in coding with ability to understand, analyse and create fit for purpose and efficient design and development deliverables. The developer must be proactive and have the ability to seek out related information by working interactively with the team.

TECHNOLOGY - VARIOUS - DEVELOPER (T7)

SENIOR: Supervisory/advisory role; Highly specific skill set or technical training; Advanced educational credentials required; Greater prior experience in this role (5+ years)

SUMMARY: Responsible for creating user information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining platform-based components and interfaces, including Dotnet, Java, Linux, Unix, Oracle, or SAP.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in IT or other technical studies; specialization in at least one of Dotnet, Java, Linux, Unix, Oracle, or SAP; certifications ideal (eg, SAP certification)

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: Experience in PL/SQL, Perl/Python, one of Unix/Java/Linux Scripting or other BI programming language; experience in single or multiple databases such as Oracle, SAP, SQL Server or Sybase
