An experienced Python Developer is required to join Europe's current leading operator, an international telecoms and television company.

The main duty of this project is to support the company's customers email system, delivering enhanced security on the mail platform around Anti-SPAM, Anti-Phishing and Anti-Abuse by integrating a number of specialist products and services. While creating user information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining platform-based components and interfaces, including Dotnet, Java, Linux, Unix, Oracle, or SAP.

THE IDEAL PYTHON DEVELOPER WILL POSSESS THESE CORE SKILLS:

- Previous Python Developer experience
- Creative thinker and problem solver
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience in PL/SQL, Perl/Python, one of Unix/Java/Linux Scripting or other BI programming language

JOB OVERVIEW:

Based in the Netherlands, your day to day activities will include being responsible for writing codes to build application interfaces (APIs) for Anti-Abuse and Anti-Spam services. This can include activities such as detailed designing, coding, unit testing, system testing and deployment activities. You will be asked to bring a creative mind to the team and provide solutions that is best fit for the purpose within the email environment.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Defines objectives by analysing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
- Designs and develops user interfaces to Internet/Intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
- Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.
- Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server Scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information Servers.
- Creates multimedia applications by using authoring tools.
- Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
