Python Developer

I currently have a position available for a Python developer with strogn experience in JavaScript. Please find the job spec below.

Role: Python developer

Rate: £400 per day

Duration: 3 months with strong possibility of extension

Location: Reading

Start date: ASAP but will wait for the right person

Experience required

- Deep experience in Python and JavaScript
- A solid grounding in OOP
- Experience of software testing techniques including Test Driven Development
- An understanding of Design Patterns
- Experience of working with source control systems
- An appreciation of good user experience and prepared to be the users' advocate
- A track record of producing maintainable code within collaborative environments
- Internet protocols and technologies

Desirable experience

- Ability to rapidly acquire new software skills and to work with new technologies
- Experience of building highly usable dynamic web-based systems
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies in a self organising, cross functional team
- Competence and full understanding of automated acceptance testing tools and techniques including Behavioural Driven Development
- Linux OS experience including automated provisioning techniques
- Experience of RDBMS and NOSQL
- REST/JSON based APIs
