Our well known digital broadcast client requires an outstanding software developer with a good breadth of knowledge, covering both client and Server Side technologies particularly Python, Django and JavaScript. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and demonstrate your software engineering skills working in a cutting edge and challenging field.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop, test, release and document applications using best software engineering practices to ensure timely service delivery and ease of maintenance
- Assist the Support team with service transition by providing timely adoption documentation, training and assistance with problem resolution
- Peer review the work of other team members and to provide assistance as directed

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

- Deep experience in Python, and one or more of: Django, JavaScript, HTML/CSS/SASS, Responsive Design
- A solid grounding in OOP
- Experience of Agile and software testing techniques including Test Driven Development
- An understanding of Design Patterns
