Description:

Technical day to day:

- Netcool day-to-day support and maintenance operations.
- Netcool development (Telecommunication Network Fault Management).
- Provide technical analysis and troubleshooting on daily network alarms.

Technical project management:

- Review monitoring solutions before they go to production
- Interact with engineering and IT teams to assure proper monitoring
- Prepare the requirements documents with the users/sponsor
- Estimate development time based on requirement documents
- Organize formal acceptance and test of new development

Technical skills:

- Strong knowledge of Netcool/NetExpert development.
- Good Knowledge of network protocols SNMP, TCP/IP, ftp, Telnet, ssh.
- Broad knowledge of OS platforms (UNIX is a must), Oracle databases and Middleware.
- Knowledge of Nokia NetAct, BMC Patrol is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Corba is an advantage.
- Telecom experience:
- Knowledge of the GSM network basics is a must.
- Previous experience with a mobile operator is an advantage.

Soft skills:

- Strong analytic and troubleshooting skills.
- Operational mind (quick and precise responds to live issues).
- Autonomous and self directed.
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously, report to several people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate technical projects and development planning.

Languages:

- English is a must.
- Dutch and French are appreciated.
