Purchasing Supervisor

Supervises the daily activities of the purchasing function. Oversees the ordering of materials and supplies from vendors. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. May lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to the Purchasing Manager.

Job Details:

BUYER SUPPORT EXPEDITOR
* Phone work/expediter of parts
* Order and follow up on orders of parts
* Responsible for ensuring the current PO Promise dates are managing current PO Promise Dates in Oracle MRP system
* Oracle experience required
* They will be responsible for supporting the buying team to expedited parts from suppliers to the NHR manufacturing facility.
* The daily activities include, but not limited to: Calling a list of assigned suppliers to get currently status on open GE Purchase Orders and communicating current need by dates to suppliers.

Requirements:
* Must have 2 - 5 years experience Oracle
* 2-5 years experience in procurement or expediting orders
o Experience in sourcing, procurement, buying support of raw materials - experience desired
* Must have phone skills and follow through skills
* Highly organized
* Advanced EXCEL skills required
* Mid level experienced candidate requested
DEGREE: No degree required with right experience

* Computer skills, ability to learn multiple systems quickly to be self-sufficient in extracting data and adding data to the system
