Projektbeschreibung

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Purchasing/Scheduler orders materials, supplies, and services that meet specifications and deliver on time for a competitive total system cost.
- Develop relationships with key suppliers.
- Schedule weekly production, and forecast production out 4 to 6 weeks based on actual order and order history.
- Tracking and reporting of various initiatives.
- Participate in cross functional teams for projects.
- Projects are assigned to compliment the steady growth and the increasing vendor and material base.
- Responsible for a portion of the vendor qualification program.
- Participate in annual budget planning process.
- Generates and analyzes Inventory Value, Excess and Obsolete, and Inventory Turn reports regularly.
- Team participant on new material procurement specifications.
- Communicate standard costs to Accounting.
- Ensures compliance of Purchasing Policies with vendors.
- Works closely with Shipping/Receiving, Production, Quality Assurance, Accounting and Sales.
- Traces delinquent arrivals from Purchase Orders.
- Follows environmental and safety regulations and acts in compliance with US laws.
- Complies with safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics.
- Vendor Management for not only pricing and services, but also Social Accountability and Sustainability.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, attention to project detail and the development of alternative plans to ensure satisfactory delivery of supplies and materials, and inventory management.

- Problem solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully.

- Safety and security - Actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures, and uses equipment and materials properly.
- General sign-off: Expected to adhere to all company policies.

SKILLS

Bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus in supply chain, project management, or logistics. 3-5 years' experience in purchasing, scheduling and logistics. Excel, Outlook, Word, Access, SAP or other MRP based system. Must be able to operate well in a team environment.
