11 MONTH CONTRACT - PURCHASING PROJECT COORDINATOR

Essential Functions:
Supports Medical Equipment Consultant (MEC) with procurement of medical and imaging equipment for NFS capital projects primarily computer data entry and phone communications
Edit detailed equipment lists in FEP2 as directed by MEC.
Assist MEC with equipment inventories and enters information into FEP2 as directed by MEC.
Assist MEC with entering FEP codes to identify items sent to purchasing and perform quality checks.
Maintain purchasing files (hard and soft copies)
Maintain status logs
Prepare reports

Basic Qualifications:
Strong skills with standard Microsoft Office applications including spreadsheet and project management software
Basic knowledge of healthcare terms, concepts and equipment is desirable
Strong written and oral communications skills
Familiarity with construction plans and ability to interpret equipment specifications is desirable
Previous experience working on multiple projects with competing deadlines preferred.
Typing, good written and verbal communication skills with good organization skills needed.
Associates degree

Reason for role: new medical center opening
Need person to coordinate equipment coming in to the facility. A person who has worked in a construction/contractor environment would be great - someone who has read/seen construction documents. Will be adding information in to OneLink, coordinating delivery/receipt of equipment. Will receive direction on what expectations are.

Hours- standard, do not anticipate OT
