Purchasing Manager - Global Automotive tier 1

Huxley Associates are proud to be working exclusively with a global automotive giant in Coventrywho are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Manager to join their team. This is the chance to join an absolute key player in the industry who will be able to take your career from strength to strength. The company have recently acquired a lucrative contract and due to this are looking for a new Purchasing Manager to strengthen the Strategic Purchasing team. As Purchasing Manager you will you have significant influence over the companies indirect and direct material spend and play a key role in assisting the supply chain to attain world class levels of performance. You will act as a line manager for at least two Senior buyers, have day to day responsibility for your assigned commodities, work on cost reduction activities and work on supplier development. We are looking for some of the best strategic Purchasing Managers in the industry. You will need a proven track record of purchasing within a manufacturing environment and show good man management skills. Most importantly you will show you have a desire to succeed and a 'can- do' attitude. On offer for this role is a starting salary of circa £48,000 which is flexible dependant on the successful candidates skills and experience plus a generous benefits package including car allowance which is dependant on the successful candidates skills and experience.
