My client which is currently looking for a Purchasing manager to join their team.
THE CONSULTANT WILL BE PRIMARILY RESPONSIBLE FOR SOURCING AND PROCUREMENT OF IT RELATED SERVICES AND PRODUCTS IN LINE WITH SOURCING CATEGORY MANAGEMENT PRINCIPLES
THE CONSULTANT WILL BE PRIMARILY RESPONSIBLE FOR SOURCING AND PROCUREMENT OF IT RELATED SERVICES AND PRODUCTS IN LINE WITH SOURCING CATEGORY MANAGEMENT PRINCIPLES
TASKS:
Organize tenders for sourcing of new IT projects, products or services.
Follow-up of periodic contract renewals for software, hardware and services
Evaluate vendor responses
Prepare contract negotiations
Interact with internal IT account managers, service managers and business representatives
Translate business demands into service requirements
SKILLS:
Extensive experience in a purchasing function
Punctual and result oriented
Comfortable in working in a multi-cultural, multi-language environment
Good command of English both verbal and in writing, other European languages are an asset.
Good communication skills
Ability to work independent
Excellent knowledge of IT products and services
Extensive experience in negotiating and managing IT contracts
Knowledge about international trade regulations
Experience in working with SAP systems
