TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
- This specialized purchasing assistant role will oversee the management of the engineering vendor data (drawings, specifications etc.) that is received, reviewed and transmitted by the St. Louis based Global Engineering team.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Assists in the purchasing function in all parts of the organization.
- Evaluates and approves vendors and authorizes purchase orders for goods or services. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Requires a bachelor's degree or at least 8 years of experience in the field.
- Attention to detail and the ability to track and manage large volumes of documentation is a must.
- Strong Personal interaction is needed to be able to work with the engineering team.
BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Past Document management experience in an engineering environment.
