Purchasing Analyst

JOB PURPOSE:
Perform advanced analytical tasks in support of the Global Supply Network Division (GSND) category management and/or site management.

JOB DUTIES:

- This role is responsible and accountable for the analysis and maintenance of purchasing and quality data including but not limited to; purchase orders, quotations, invoices, supplier data and measurements.
- Works effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers at all levels.
- Will demonstrate project leadership skill level required to collect, compile, assimilate, communicate, and maintain information as required.
- Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards within this diverse global organization.
- Perform analytical and administrative tasks in support of GSND strategic initiatives.
- This role may support Buyers and/or Managers working with category teams and sites.
- Customer(s) will be fully informed of progress on assignments to ensure all requirements are met.

SKILLS:

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

- SAP knowledge required Administrative background in Purchasing, Finance, or Manufacturing Operations required.
- Intermediate to advanced skill in use of computer software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint is preferred.
- Effective communicator (oral and written)
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative work style
- Familiar with basic procurement and quality principles, procedures, and techniques
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a dynamic environment
