Sport Media is a highly productive magazine and book publishing unit that is part of Trinity Mirror plc. Sport Media produces high quality publications and digital products for a local, national and international audience. The unit is made up of a talented team of journalists and designers, plus business development, sales and marketing staff who combine to deliver products to a string of high profile clients, including leading football clubs, and international sporting organisations.

As Publishing Sales Manager you will manage and develop key accounts with existing clients such as W.H. Smith and Waterstones, as well as developing new business with relevant trade partners. A key element of the role will be to secure product placement in leading bookshops, newsagents, travel outlets and supermarkets. You will formulate sales strategies, pinpointing trends, issues and opportunities in order to drive profitable growth.
In addition to this you will be Sport Media's main point of contact with a variety of Stadium Sales Managers who handle our match day programme operations at leading club and international venues across the UK. Clear sales reports will need to be produced for the Sport Media Management team pinpointing trends, issues and opportunities.

You will be a highly adaptable, self motivated B2B field sales manager with a proven track record of achieving targets. Experience of the publishing/book sales industry would be highly advantageous although not essential. The role will be based out of Liverpool, however ,may include some travel .
