Publisher

My client, a Global technology company are currently recruiting for a Publisher to work within an existing team. The role will be based in Reading on an initial 12 month contract.

Key areas of responsibility:
Support Producer in creation & publishing of application content promotions
Using proprietary CMS (content management system) tool, build and publish content according to schedule
Support team in production and managing timelines through production and launch
Adhere to all deadlines and escalate potential issues as necessary
Update Producer clearly and regularly on status of weekly tasks and ongoing issues
Attend regular project meetings
Ensure that programming and project follow internal policies and procedures
Other ad-hoc duties as necessary

Key skills/experience:
Strong proficiency with content management tools and processes
Strong editorial skills, particularly and ability to write concise headlines and descriptions that adhere to tight character restrictions
Experience in Project Management
Experience of working to schedules in a daily or weekly content publishing environment
Proven experience in creating content for multiple audience types in an online environment, preferably in the entertainment industry

This role would be responsible for supporting the French region so the ability to speak French would be highly desirable.
