Duties may include:

- System tracing and protocol flow analysis. Leading role in solution troubleshooting cases, including Nokia equipments and 3rd party equipment or several technology areas.
- Lead and provide consultancy during complex support activities such as Expert Support Services, Preventive Care, SW upgrades, On-line SW Change.
- esponsible for technical support in early product release phases (pilots, trials and early projects).
- Understands KPI.
- Network expansion activities up to multi-interface level.
- Dictate On the Job Training of O&M activities of PS network elements to customer.

In case handling process:

Acts as first point of contact for customer, receives and validates the case, collects case info using analytical troubleshooting methods.

Provides workaround or solves the case through Knowledge Re-Use

Supports implementation of preventive proposals

Case escalation to higher levels of support

As Emergency Engineer

Receives the EME case, assess severity and collects information and symptoms needed for technical analyses

Leads the e2e technical troubleshooting activities

Neutralizes and restores the working state of the system

Provides updates of incident progress throughout the case life cycle

Provides information for RCA/preventive analysis purposes

Ensures the EME case data and reporting quality

As Operations Engineer

Acts as T2 for cases dispatched from GDC operations. Receives the P1/P2 cases by PT4 tool, assess root cause and collects information and symptoms needed for technical analyses and escalated to GDC/TS care if necessary.

Leads the e2e technical troubleshooting activities for P1/P2 cases.

Neutralizes and restores the working state of the system for P1 cases

Provides updates of incident progress throughout the case life cycle in PT4 tool.

Provides information for RCA/preventive analysis purposes in PT4 tool.

Ensures the close for P1 cases.

Ensure proper reporting for all internal and customer cases.
