MY DUTIES:

- Purification of active proteins, downstream characterisation and modification
- Implementation of protein folding strategies
- Quality assurance assays of generated proteins
- Preparation and communication of research results
- Preparation of reports, presentations, SOPs, etc.

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Apprenticeship/BSc/MSc in biochemistry or a related subject
- Hands-on protein purification experience in a research lab
- Biotech/pharma experience
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively without supervision
- Teamwork, problem solving attitude, ability to absorb knowledge and use it to achieve results, enthusiasm for protein biochemistry
- Protein purification using different chromatography techniques (e.g. IMAC, SEC, IEX on Äkta systems)
- Analytical methods for protein characterisation (e.g. SEC-HPLC, RP-HPLC, nanoDSF, DLS, MALDI-TOF)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
