PROTEIN PURIFICATION ASSOCIATE SCIENTIST NEEDED for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Diego, CA.

Top Skills You Should Possess:

- Experience with protein purification automation (Antibody).

What You'll Be Doing:

- Strong organizational skills, great attention to details.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Development and application of physic-chemical analytical methods
- HPLC, SDS-PAGE, IEF, Western, etc.
- Competency in chromatography-based protein and antibody purification methods.
- A strong interest in the evaluation and implementation of novel chromatography and analytical technologies.
- Commitment to working within a team.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- BACHELOR'S DEGREE in biochemistry, protein chemistry, biology or a related field is required with a
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in process or methods development, preferably in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical sciences industry or a MASTER'S DEGREE in analytical chemistry, biochemistry or a related field.

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:

- Hands on experience with FPLC (ie AKTA) and HPLC (ie Waters, Agilent, etc.) equipment.
- Multitasking and ability to troubleshoot chromatography instruments and lab equipment.
