Propulsion Engineer Job

PROPULSION ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in BINGEN, WA

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Oversees all phases of the engine development cycle, specializing in engine technology.
- Establishes and/or approves engine and component specifications and performance targets.
- Leads design efforts, layout and evaluation of engine systems and components.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Extensive Exp. in propulsion and aviation engines. Exp. with 2 cycle engines with heavy fuel combustion capability.
- with UAV's or small manner aircraft preferred.
- Knowledge of internal combustion engine design to include 2/4 stroke.
- Knowledge of engineering tests techniques, including handling qualities, performance, systems testing, structural loads, propulsion, etc
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering theories around engines.
- Knowledge of engine assembly and production procedures.
- SolidWorks tool user.
- Typical experience: 5-8 years in an engine engineering classification with a Bachelor's degree or 3-6. years' experience in an engine engineering classification with a Master's degree.
