Projektbeschreibung

Role Purpose:
To manage the design & build of a range of new consumer products and propositions for our client based on sound customer insights and underpinning Individual Membership (IM) revenue & profitability growth, through acquisition, retention & up-sell/cross-sell.

Role Dimension:

Financial:
KPI responsibility for the profitability of new IM products and propositions launched to market, eg. new cover levels, bundled packages etc. (shared with Pricing team)

Non financial:
Drive strategic market, customer & operational insight to inform the development of an NPD roadmap, to deliver competitive advantage and long-term profit growth for the Company IM
Design & build new IM customer propositions, with responsibility for insight, USPs, creative positioning, customer processes & experience, channel briefing/management, and ongoing commercial performance management

Senior Sales & Marketing Manager, Propositions

Outcomes:

The role needs to deliver:
Create and implement the NPD innovation roadmap to drive future IM profit growth through differentiation from competitors
Drive the development of the Company's non-breakdown product and proposition portfolio from concept through to delivery to market to meet the motoring needs of our client's members.

Ensure all activity is:
o Based on sound customer insight driven from research and data/behavioural analysis
o Creates USPs and is differentiated from the competition
o Builds the brand and drives member advocacy
o Delivers IM sales, retention, revenue & profit targets
o Is delivered across all consumer channels (direct sales force, web, call centres, patrols)
o Is delivered with a slick seamless customer experience (including acquisition/retention integration)

Work closely with Membership Proposition Manager to ensure integration of the core product portfolio into the overarching the Company's membership proposition
Scope and deliver Breakdown needs segmentation including explicit purpose and outcomes, and overlay with value segmentation to build target customer segments, needs profiles and channel strategy
Share segmentation output with colleagues and ensure this remains front of mind for colleagues during cross-functional innovation sessions and to ensure buy-in to NPD
Input to IT architectural strategy (Product & Pricing Engine) to match future customer & business needs with internal systems capability
Ensure clarity of key selling messages for new propositions across the Company communications & sales channelsDeliver short-mid-term roadmap of product launches and re-launches

Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
Solid evidence of successful delivery to market of new products and propositions
Good experience of proposition development/product management
Experience of consumer marketing, gained within a high-profile consumer services brand Knowledge of financial services and/or retail sectors
Experience of driving customer insight from a range of sources (traditional research, frontline touch points, data analysis etc.)
Experience of managing commercial KPIs.

Qualifications/FSA:
Degree plus marketing qualifications (eg. CIM or IDM) or equivalent experience.
