Propositions Manager, Sky+, on Demand & Sky Store (12 Month FTC

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Sky+, On Demand & Sky Store team within TV Products, part of Sky's Sales & Marketing Group. We are looking for a Proposition Manager full of drive and initiative as the successful candidate will need to hit the ground running on a number of exciting new projects

TV Products is responsible for the success of customer-facing products including Sky+, On Demand, Sky Store, Entertainment Extra+, HD, 3D, Sky Go, Sky Multiroom and Sky Protect. Each team within TV Products looks after the strategy, propositions, marketing and performance of their products, working closely with other teams in the Sales & Marketing Group and right across Sky. TV Products is a vibrant team, delivering best in class products for Sky customers

The Sky+, On Demand & Sky Store Propositions sub-team is responsible for bringing new features to market that resonate with customers and deliver on KPIs. It leads a working group with representation from teams across Sky. It is our responsibility to set the agenda and manage preparation for regular Executive Steering Groups.

The proposition team work very closely with Product Design & Development on new features for Sky+ across both the Sky+ box and the Sky+ app. Their role is to ensure that all new improvements have the customer experience at the core and therefore are compelling and intuitive to use. The team also work together with the Channels and Operations team to continually develop a market leading On Demand content proposition. Once new proposition changes are planned, it is then the team's role to collaborate with marketing and brand teams to ensure that the insight and key product or content messages are carried through to all customers and staff communications.

Responsibilities

Manage discrete propositions projects to support Sky+, On Demand & Sky Store objectives

* Launch new Sky+ products and features that are currently on the roadmap.

* Work with Product Design & Development on the upcoming changes and represent the customers' point of view

* Lead a specific content and user experience project, working with the Marketing team, Product Design & Development

* Work on discrete Sky+ and Sky+ app UX features

Define and develop key team outputs

* Own the Sky+, On Demand & Sky Store research plan and manage projects with Strategy & Insight

* Own the On Demand usage model to forecast the impact of proposition changes on customers and usage

* Own the On Demand capacity model

Key skills and requirements

* Ability to build Excel models, including forecasts and confident debating / explaining financial models with senior stakeholders.

* Constantly reviewing success and looking for improvements to product features, propositions and processes, and finding ways to make change happen

* A natural problem-solving mentality with the resilience to overcome obstacles and find creative solutions to problems

* An ambitious, energetic self-starter with either marketing, product development/management and/or strategy experience

* Ability to influence and negotiate at a senior level and present confidently and credibly

* Exceptional people skills, adapting your approach where required, managing and mediating the objectives of different stakeholders

* Ability to put yourself in a customers' shoes, ensure that user journeys are compelling, yet simple

* Ability to draft, review and edit copy, for example on-screen copy (EPG and in-app

* Comfortable with regularly meeting the challenges of tight deadlines and juggling multiple projects

* Takes responsibility and initiative for actions, projects and people
