Propositions Manager

The Role

We are looking for a Proposition Manager who likes to work autonomously and has the ability to take critical business decisions. The role includes elements of marketing, proposition development and product management.

Delight our customers with simple, reliable and inspirational propositions that help give better service to their global shoppers. The role is a six month maternity leave cover focused on managing MyCurrency (our DCC product), post-launch activities for Tax Free Shopping and launching of Gift Card.

Key Accountabilities

- Hitting agreed targets for net income and contribution from these propositions.
- Work with corporate sales teams to win new business and maximise usage of the propositions by existing customers. This involves the regular attendance of client meetings and managing some customer relationships.
- Work with suppliers and partners (YESpay, Global Blue, TS3) to ensure smooth delivery of the services to customers and the timely arrival of product enhancements on time and on budget.
- Work with Streamline Operations to ensure customers receive great service.
- Manage MyCurrency in-life, ensure MyCurrency is made available on WorldPay Total via YESpay integration.
- Ensure Tax Free Shopping (launched August 2013) achieves its targets.

Skills & Experience

- Ability to construct a business case, explain complex issues in simple terms.
- Be able to persuade senior decision makers in our clients.
- Previous experience of launching and managing in-life complex products sold to corporate customers.
- Collaborative but able to work autonomously.
- Comfortable taking decisions and being responsible for the outcomes.

Ideally you will have a good understanding of card acquiring and FX products in general:
