Propositions Development Analyst (WRAP Platform) - 6 Months - Surrey

PROPOSITIONS, WRAP, PLATFORMS, BUSINESS ANALYSIS, INVESTMENTS, MARKETING, STAKEHOLDER, CUSTOMER

PURPOSE OF YOUR ROLE:

The role is to work with the business and with their colleagues to fully define all the requirements of a project (including marketing, legal & compliance, process and systems requirements) from both a product, service and commercial perspective. It is vital that as well as looking towards new developments or package solutions they also think creatively about systems already in place and reuse of these. They should be able to run workshops, prepare professional documentation, provide a bridge between business and systems and be skilled in the art of pushing-back as and when required.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Work with business & systems stakeholders to agree scope, requirements and content of projects and develop the standard Business requirements documentation for that stage in the initiative
- Manage (and measure) all project requirements through the project life cycle
- Develop your business analysis skills in conjunction with the projects you are working on
- Contribute to the smart use of human resources from the expertise pools available
- Communicate on-going progress, as the prime conduit between the Project Manager(s) and the business teams
- Liaise with business analysts & project resources in other office locations
- Liaise with 3rd party service providers during the initial stages of a project
- Assist in the identification and resolution of issues
- Work closely with relevant areas within the client and externally, to help identify and implement enhancements
- Maintain up to date knowledge of operational processes and planned developments
- Relationship with internal groups - Front Office, Customer Services, Technology. Finance/Oversight, Projects

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Liaising with Customers in the business in a proactive and challenging manner
- STRONG PROPOSITION SKILLS - EXPERIENCE OF WORKING IN A RETAIL PLATFORM OR DISTRIBUTION ENVIRONMENT
- BUSINESS ANALYSIS EXPERIENCED LINKED WITH YOUR PREVIOUS PROPOSITION DEVELOPMENT ROLES
- Commercial awareness, ability to support the commercial aspirations of the client's business
- Strong understanding of external market technology solutions for business problems in the Business Unit
- Good mathematical and Excel skills in order to be able to build and challenge the financial business case
- Good communication skills, with proven ability of working with all levels of personnel up to Senior Management
- Understanding business process/systems/marketing/legal requirements and communicating these to colleagues
