Proposition Manager (Contract) - Wealth Management Customer Centric Pl

APPLICANTS MUST HAVE STRONG EXPERIENCE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF WEALTH MANAGEMENT CUSTOMER CENTRIC PLATFORM PROPOSITIONS

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

- To support Head of Retail Wealth Propositions in agreeing and developing the retail wealth Retirement proposition strategy (policy, product, communications, platform, service, target market and distribution), managing regulatory and other product risks arising
- Support the Head of Retail Wealth Propositions in establishing and setting the method & approach to each market segment for the proposition
- Help design specific components of simple - complex propositions

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- You will have at least 7 year's experience in this area of expertise
- Have effectively contributed to the development of customer centric propositions with a high level of complexity (eg propositions that are new to Industry)
- Your previous work and accomplishments clearly demonstrate your core proposition development mind-set. With the ability to think "out of the box", strive to be better than competitors, and put the customer at the centre of all you do 

KNOWLEDGE

- Excellent understanding of both business and external communication best practice
- Complete understanding of propositions, processes, controls and services
- Sound knowledge of marketing processes
- Understanding of industry climate and potential or real challenges being face

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

- Proven proposition management experience of financial services for the end consumer
- Understanding and experience in at least one of ISA or Pension proposition or product management
- Knowledge and understanding of the medium to long term savings market in terms of customer needs, distribution and providers
- Attention to detail
- Excel and PowerPoint skills

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Creating clear, comprehensive and compelling proposition statements as a critical enabler to successful market delivery & response
- Determining initiatives to maintain or grow profitable market share for relevant proposition set
- Supporting the Head of Retail Wealth Propositions in determining the most appropriate channel or route to market.
- Input to & support product development including sign-off of key deliverables.
- Manage implementation of processes, systems configuration and training in own function area to ensure that the propositions under development will be effectively delivered.
- Collaborate with Proposition Specialists in all relevant areas of expertise to ensure that the proposition under development is built and delivered in an integrated fashion.
- Support the Head of Retail Wealth Propositions in championing products & propositions. 
- To be recognised & valued as an expert market insight authority
- To actively reappraise existing propositions to maintain competitiveness
- To represent our client externally on relevant technical industry forums eg. ABI working parties etc
