Proposals Support Engineer (Mechanical) Leeds

As an integral part of the Engineering Team, the Proposals Support Engineer will be responsible for reviewing client specifications with regards to QA / QC processes and material & welding and requirements.

Ideally be degree qualified and/or HND / HND in Mechanical Engineering or related subjects and have experience with Quality Assurance, Welding & Metallurgy.

In addition, the Proposals Support Engineer should also have the following experience:

- Familiar with manufacturing processes such as welding, material processing, coating and NDE
- Preferable experience in major projects in materials or a welding capacity
- Preferably experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control

This Proposals Support Engineer role might suit someone who has come from a Mechanical Engineering background and has a good knowledge of Metallurgy / Materials (Quality Engineer / Materials Engineer etc) that is looking to progress into a Sales / Tendering role within a multi-national, multi-billion pound Engineering Firm.

For the successful Proposals Support Engineer, a salary up to £40,000 is on offer.
