Proposals Supervisor - Connectors - Up to $110k

Progressive Global Energy has been tasked with sourcing a senior/lead/supervising Proposals specialist to take on the role of Proposals Supervisor with a leading Oil & Gas service company in Houston TX. This global company is looking to bring someone in to lead the Proposals team (just now 2 people) and help grow the team

Experience required for the role is as follows:

- Design engineering experience, preferably with Subsea products.
- Technical review of specifications/tender requests from clients.
- Knowledge of industry codes (ASME/DNV/API etc).
- A solid understanding of mechanical parts and components.
- Excellent organization skills.

It would be a major plus if you had experience working with Connectors specifically. Please note this is not a design engineer post but a Proposals role for someone with a design engineering background.

Your role would be to take the tender request/specification(s) from the client(s) and distribute to team or handle directly the request. You will then form a proposal and liaise with other departments (engineering, projects, sales, cost/purchasing etc) to supply a final proposal on the tender.

You must be able to read a technical spec from the customer and be able to qualify what the company can and cannot deliver on. You will not have purchasing, buying responsibility.
