Proposal Support Specialist

DUTIES:

- The Proposal Support Specialist will play a key role in the development of a technical and price proposal for a complex proposal effort
- The Proposal Specialist will be primarily focused on a single project, although they may be asked to assist on others if workload permits.
- Dissemination of proposal materials to team members, and proposal schedule and action item maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

- Assists in researching and collecting proposal content and data
- Organize project data into database and maintain data quality as project progresses
- Assists in development of proposal project schedule and adhering to associated deadlines
- Assist with the creation of various proposal related items, such as requirements matrices, management plans, etc.
- Establish and maintain files (electronic and hard copy), coordinate access to files
- Receive and send proposal materials to internal and external team members, utilize company's FTP server to set up team data room
- Handle meeting logistics, including preparing agendas, taking and distributing meeting minutes, and preparing materials as needed
- Maintain issue/action items lists
- Provide word processing and database support
- Coordinate with marketing team to create covers, spines, and graphics
- Print, assemble, quality check, and package technical and business proposals

SKILLS:

- 2 or more years of experience supporting proposal and business development
- Obsessive attention to detail
- PC skills: Word, Excel, Access, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills

EDUCATION:

- Degree preferred but not required
- A PMP accreditation or Shipley Training a plus
