Property Legal Counsel

Our client an expanding organisation is looking for a Legal Counsel to work in-house to support in providing Property Legal Support.

The role reports into a Senior Legal Counsel and is to ensure all programmes are delivered on target and to budget
Negotiating agreements including new leases or licences, surrender and re-grants, licences to assign deeds of assignment and deeds of variation
Management of external lawyers appointed to approve documentation and assist with establishing various processes and polices
Dealing with legal disputes/issues with site providers and other 3rd parties in order to mitigate risks
Working closely with property teams to support the business requirements.

Legal Counsel will be a qualified solicitor with experience in commercial property within a major law firm or within a blue chip company and with telecoms knowledge. Experience in negotiating other commercial contracts would be highly advantageous and of complex property dispute resolution and litigation including the Landlord and Tenant Act would be valuable.
