I am recruiting for an In House Legal Counsel based in Buckinghamshire focusing on the area of Property law for a telecoms company.

Candidates must have a background in this area and have a full legal related qualification.

We are looking for candidates with strong drafting experience, landlord and tenant disputes, property dispute resolution experience and knowledge of telecoms would be good but not essential.
*Reporting to and supporting Senior Legal Counsel on all aspects of the Network Integration Project ensuring all programmes are delivered to target and budget;
*Negotiating agreements including new leases or licences, surrender and re-grants, licences to assign, deeds of assignment and deeds of variation or surrender with isolated owners, MSP's and OLO's;
*Drafting notices to terminate Site Agreements;
*Some Management of external lawyers appointed for the client approving documentation and ensuring that the external lawyers deliver to agreed standards and within defined timescales and to budget;
*Assisting with establishing various processes and policies to be developed for the client and/or with external lawyers and agents including drafting of initial application letters to and consent letters with Site-Providers with respect to Integration Activities;
*Driving the Integration Activities on all sites;
*Dealing with legal disputes/issues with Site Providers and other third parties in order to mitigate risks to the clients network;
*Providing timely and accurate advice on all aspects of the Telecommunications Act 1984 and the Communications Act 2003 with particular emphasis on the implications on Network Integration;
*Advising the property teams and agents on queries and other legal queries associated with Network Integration and assisting with achieving a resolution by analysis of the legal rights in an Agreement or by negotiation (where applicable) with Site Providers and/or their solicitor;
*Advising the business on general Property/telecoms issues and general estate management queries including property disputes and Landlord and Tenant Act procedures;
*Working closely with the property teams to support their business requirements;
