Projektrisiko Manager

As part of the current expansion, I am seeking a Project Risk Manager (m/f) responsible for development of long term project risk assessment, concentrating mainly on storage projects, but with future extension of activity on power, LNG, transportation and EEP projects for a successful energy trading company that belongs to the world's largest producer of natural gas. The assessment is mainly concentrated on technical aspects and their influence on economical performance of the project.

The key tasks are:
-Taking the lead in the improvement of risk management of long term projects, concentrating on storage projects, but be ready to work with power, LNG, transportation and EEP projects
-Develop methodology for evaluation of CAPEX risk, risk of delays in construction or deviation from initial performance parameters for long term project on different stages
-Build necessary models, tools, cover all methodological questions
-Maintaining excellent working relationships with project managers, EEP specialists, members of an international team

Your profile is:
-Education in engineering or physics and some years experience of working in an energy sector company
-Proven experience in project management and economical assessment of storage projects as well as experience of working in project management or in operational risk management
-Experience of working with long term oil and gas projects
-Programming skills and possibility to develop own models using Excel macros or other tools
-Dedication to review and improvement of existing models and processes
-Ability to provide leadership and expertise within a technical/technological area
-Readiness to support the team in other risk management activities
-Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills; other language skills would be a benefit particularly Russian and German
