Projekt im Bereich Applikation

As part of a development team, the application engineer will be responsible for:
* Developing and testing automotive SBR-products, mainly for BMW
* Promoting simultaneous engineering between BMW departments, the customer and other involved development partners (e.g. seat suppliers)

The Application Engineer for BMW reports directly to the project manager for BMW ODS. The major responsibilities of the role include:
* Supporting design and development department
* Promoting fast response to customer issues
* Supporting development teams by ensuring timely customer deliverables and resolution of relevant issues
* Supporting the customer production facilities in preliminary engineering analysis of technical and quality issues
* Coordinating the customer's simultaneous engineering and assembly meetings

VORAUSSETZUNGEN:

* A university degree in Mechanical Engineering
* A native German speaker with good written and spoken English
* Good communication skills
* Experience in automotive processes and customer norms especially those used by BMW, is an asset
