Projects manager - Ely - 3 Months
This department deals with the flow of orders through from the collation of planning detail from the Sales, Design, Buying, Production and Test and Inspection departments, ensuring that output of the company's product and required documentation occurs in a timely manner. This post deals with the planning and managing of those projects requiring project management. Liaising with all appropriate departments to ensure timely flow of required information between departments and to the customer. Ensure timely completion of finished product and documentation.
Main duties of the job:- 1) Acquire in depth knowledge of project managed contracts
2) Organise, plan and manage contracts
3) Liaise fully with all appropriate departments to ensure timely output of both information, product and documentation
4) Facilitate the administration and production processes, where applicable, in order to ensure effective dovetailing between departments
5) Formulate good working relationships with customers
6) Take ownership of customer problems and action accordingly
7) Formulate contingency plan if problems arise and present to Project Services Manager for discussion and action
8) Raise relevant reports and documentation
9) Liaise fully with Project Services Manager
10) Maintain contract files, orderly and chronologically
11) In addition to these duties employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.
Qualifications:- The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of Microsoft office and ideally have experience of manufacturing systems.
