Project Tech Lead - Air Ground and Voice Networks

My client a leading Australian employer is looking for a Project Technical lead - Air Ground and Voice Networks to join their team on a long term contract basis. The purpose of this role is to support the chief engineer and assigned project managers in the achievement of their accountabilities in relation to the provision of technical coordination across system and service domains for assigned projects.

THE PERSON

You will have a high level of experience and a proven track record demonstrating achievement in delivering value added systems and solutions within a complex commercial environment.

You will possess the following:

- Engineering or Information Technology degree from an Australian Tertiary Institution (or equivalent).
- A high degree of technical proficiency, and experience of VHF/UHF Air Ground communication systems.
- Knowledge of UHF/P25 Communications Systems and their operation.
- Knowledge of IP Voice Networks and their operation.

THE ROLE

The PTL will contribute to assigned engineering projects for the Capital Works Plan and will provide engineering services as described in the specified Project Management Plan and Systems Engineering Management Plan.

The PTL are allocated across the following domains:

- Engineering/ICT
- Communications
- Infrastructure

These are senior positions requiring a high capacity for work in a complex environment and the ability to positively influence key stakeholders to make timely and effective contributions to the delivery of technical and engineering outcomes for assigned projects.
