Project Team Leader - Credit Risk and Finance

Projektbeschreibung

The role holder will lead a team of Financial Difficulties Remediation Project Analysts that are responsible for reviewing credit exposure to existing clients and determining appropriate remediation actions in identified segments of the Wealth Investment Management Division.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

CREDIT CASE MANAGEMENT

- Refer list or excess management
- Assessment of client financial health and identification of early points of distress
- Pro-actve client negotiations to resolve identified issues
- Work closely with Front Office, Credit Risk, and Restructuring & Recoveries teams to agree client strategies
- Annual reviews
- Credit product renewals
- Non standard covenant monitoring
- Production of credit reports or cases
- Making recommendations for EWL

RISK MANAGEMENT

- Transaction review sign offs
- Document actions/rationale for action

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

- Consider process improvements/re-design that can be proposed with appropriate documentation to enable these to be considered/progressed.

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

- Work closely with teams in Front Office, Credit Risk, Restructuring & Recoveries, and Credit Operations

REQUIREMENTS:

- Previous experience of credit and financial analysis is essential - including ability to analyse private client and corporate balance sheets
- Strong experience in risk management, and ability to demonstrate solid financial skills such as budget/cost management skills
- A high level of understanding of Credit Products, Pricing and the tools, processes and governance mechanisms in place is crucial to the success of the team
- Product knowledge (specifically Overdrafts, all Mortgages, Portfolio Finance, standard secured or unsecured loans - if any) according to the standard Credit products Matrix for UK platform
- Ability to demonstrate strong client facing skills from previous experience within a banking environment
- Previous experience of leading a team of staff with related responsibilities for performance management, coaching and training.
