PROJECT SUPPORT COORDINATION needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- PMI certification
- 1-3 Project Coordination experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The Project Coordinator is an integral member of the project team who - under the direction of a Project Manager - is responsible for building and executing a comprehensive project plan, managing its timeline and deadlines, communicating effectively with staff members.
- He/she assists the project manager in completing all the tasks necessary to keep a project on track like coordination of day-to-day activities, resources, equipment so that the project team members stay organized and focused on the project and goals at hand.
- His/her mission is to support the successful delivery of projects undertaken by PTQI through effective facilitation, tracking and reporting.
- The Project Coordinator may also lead small projects or work streams within a project.
- Services shall include, without limitation, the following
- Assist in driving various complex projects under direct supervision of project and program manager(s)
- Develop and maintain project document repositories (Touchpoint and gSites), including team charter, contact lists and distribution lists (calendar and e-mail), agendas, minutes, RAID&C log (Risk, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies and Change Log), milestones and deliverables
- Gather and create quarterly communications to be distributed via Newsletters and Rochenet.
- Ensure project calendars are current and appropriately available/distributed
- Work with department administrative staff to organize meetings and workshops
- Document and follow up on action item status to ensure timely completion
- Draft presentations for project status reviews Plan, coordinate and monitor activities of assigned projects to develop and implement procedures, processes and systems
- Reflect changes in work scope, time lines or deliverables in the project plan

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience: 1-3 years in one function
- Communication: frequent contacts with average difficulty
- Self-Reliance: sets some of his/her own goals and tasks after discussions with superior
- Complexity Management: diverse range of task to solve more challenging problems
- People Management: up to 10 project team members under his/her supervision & guidance
- Resource Management: Very small expenditures and/or performance of very small operations ( CHF 40'000)
- Result Orientation: Moderate effects on several departments or interests
- Languages: Fluent (reading, writing and speaking) in English
- Training: Certificate from a technical or business institute or other recognized professional qualification
- Desired: PMI certification
