Project Support Analyst - Project Control Officer - PMO - DV Cleared

PROJECT SUPPORT ANALYST - PROJECT CONTROL OFFICER - PMO - DV CLEARED

Our client is looking to recruit the services of an experienced Project Support Analyst to work a contract in London. The candidate will be required to work on a DV level Security-Cleared site, so must be DV level security cleared, or willing to undergo clearance.

REQUIRED TASKS:

- Toolset management, development & support.
- Planning support.
- Resource Management.
- Quality Reviews.
- Proposal Management.
- MI production.

PRIMARY DUTIES - PROJECT SUPPORT

- Manage Task Turnaround Sheet generation, issue to staff, collection/collation, update MSP with actuals.
- Highlight to the PM the impact of actuals on the plan eg items completed early, slipping, change in effort and the impact on subsequent tasks/milestones.
- Agree on actions to correct' plan with PM & update plan accordingly.
- Update Project Tracker with Actuals and latest forecast from MS Project plan.
- Monitor monthly billing.
- Production of certain project documents, including drafting, review & update to final version.
- Organise & minute team & client meetings.
- Manage project risks & issues.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Experienced in the use of MS Project
- Use of standard MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Exposure to full project life cycle ideally in a range of project types (infrastructure, software integration)

DESIRABLE

- VBA and/or SQL skills
- Experience of formal document management processes.
- Commercially aware including reporting of Earned Value.
- MS Project experience to include the use of capture actuals (to support above)
- Risk & Issue management.
