Project Specialist (Freight Payment) Job

PROJECT SPECIALIST - (FREIGHT PAYMENT) needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in SAN DIEGO, CA.

The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Freight Payment experience.
- Excel pivot table and v lookups.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Liaison with finance group, carriers and transportation group on freight bill audits and issue resolution.
- Work closely with freight payment auditors (truckload, LTL, and parcel) to review and strengthen audit protocols and identify issues with auditors. Additionally, provide rate and contract updates to auditors.
- Investigate and resolve carrier billing issues and work with carriers to resolve slow/late payment issues between A/P, freight payment auditors and carriers.
- Provide rate/lane Analysis based on systems reporting to analyze proposed carrier rates or lane pricing in support of marketing groups.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Experience working with freight payment auditors and performing post audits of freight bills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Access, and PowerPoint.
- Strong Excel skills including the ability to create and work with pivot tables and to perform v-lookup functions.
- Experience in running reports in SAP.
