PROJECT ENGINEER/SITE ENGINEER

The Project Engineer will be able to demonstrate a proven Project history within the HVDC Electricity Cable Sector or Gas Utility Industry.

You will have previous National Grid experience including TP 135, 184, 188, 189, 163, 137 and have a good understanding of Cable installation British Standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Produce Weekly site report
- Produce Daily Location Reports (DLR)
- Issue non-conformances (Management System Framework)
- Issue Client concerns/complaints - to JC copying in relevant person
- Keep personal diaryGather evidence for site statistic input
- Make recommendations for escalating issues Keep daily photo dairy - tag photos Monitor progress against programme - challenge at TP163 meeting/record update in weekly progress report
- Add status to DLR.Review L3 programme monthly and send comments to PM Assist in the production of the Weekly dash board
- Be fully compliant with Management FrameworkAttend monthly internal meeting
- Attend monthly team meeting (Voyager)
- Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks
- Communicate with all CIEs and CLR and agree daily duties
- Comply with office rules

ADMINISTRATION DUTIES:

- Uploading to Livelink of site documentation including photos (team to issue on data sticks)
- Keep WL meeting room schedule Update site notice/white boards
- Control of stationary/office requirements
- Keep site hours worked by site team

QUALIFICATIONS:

- HNC Minimum in Electrical Engineering or similar
- TP144/TP163

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/BEHAVIOURS:

- Attend Hold & witness - produce report for asset related as per Quality Plan
- Review SHESQ related documentation and ask challenging questions and issue on comments sheet
- Review designs and issue comments sheet
- Attend and report on TP163 meeting using TP163 check sheet
- Review client concerns at the TP163 meeting
- Review TP163 minutes and address any inaccuracies at the meeting
- Carry out detail site visits at various locations, review and fully understand RAMS/work packs and check for compliance reporting any issues to site supervisor and raising
- Client Concerns/Non-conformances where appropriate
- Review SWAS and report weekly on anomalies (Site Weekly Report)
- At least 1 x Environmental check sheet to be completed per week.Attend sensible monitoring with PCL as agreed at TP 163 - min one per CIE a week
- Carry out SM visit as per the planned SM Schedule - min one per CIE a week
