Project Services Manager (m/f)

A leading global provider of floating production services to oil and gas industry require a Project Services Manager for a long term contract position based in Netherlands.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise the Project Services function in the project: Planning, Estimating, Cost Control, Project Reporting
- Establish all systems and routines to effectively handle all above functional areas within the project.
- Actively involved in Risk Management as a continuous tool to focus management efforts
- Participate in development and evaluations of project contracts and POs
- Monitoring and analysis of Contractor/Supplier performance related to Project Services
- Assistance to managing the client contract
- Perform audits and examinations of internal and external (contractor) work processes, procedures and deliverables
- Close collaboration with Project Manager, Engineering disciplines, Lead Documentation Controller,Risk Management and HSSEQ

The holder of this position will be provided with the necessary authorities to carry out the responsibilities stated above and will be provided financial authority commensurate with his responsibility. All employees shall be familiar with the Management System structure and content, and have specific knowledge regarding requirements, responsibilities, processes (working methods) and other Management System information applicable to the position.

The Management System responsibilities for managers include:

- ensuring that applicable requirements, responsibilities, processes (working methods) and other Management System information is clearly communicated to all team members;
- measuring the Team`s performance;
- Identifying and handling unacceptable conditions, discrepancies, nonconformities and improvement possibilities.

Experience:

- Minimum 10 years of experience with major offshore/industrial projects and within Project Services, cost control, estimating or planning
- Documented experience as Project Controls or Project Services Manager

Skills:

- Good understanding and knowledge of the technical, contractual and commercial issues related to Engineering, Contracts/Procurement, Construction and Mechanical Completion
- Managerial skills - Interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in oral and written English language.
