Project Server System Administrator

THE ROLE:

GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO WORK IN A PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICE/USE YOUR MICROSOFT SKILLS TO ACT AS A KEY PART OF THE PMO FUNCTION!

- Act as the primary contact for all staff within the managed services program on technical issues relating to Project Server/Sharepoint.
- Administration of Project Server and Sharepoint Infrastructure
- You will also deal with external clients which use the same systems.
- Ensure timesheet and workflow processes are all working as they should be on MS Schedule.
- Ensure Schedule processes are understood and followed on the projects.
- Provide training to managed services clients on project server as well as the Project Managers/this includes all documentation.
- Analysis and repair of any issues.
- Administer Data - make any necessary changes.
- Accurate reporting.
- Maintain high level design for Project Server/SharePoint Infrastructure
- Development and maintenance of implementation procedures and tools for E2E process management
- Review, coordinate and manage installation, commissioning and implementation activities procured from vendors or third parties

YOUR BACKGROUND:

- Strong experience in Microsoft Products - Project Server (Ideally 2010) you will be the go to person for Microsoft Project Server matters!
- Also would be great for someone to have experience in - SQL 2008 R2, SharePoint 2010, Windows Server 2008 R2 with Hyper-V.
- A good understanding of Project Management Fundamentals
- Ability to deal with 3rd party vendors
