PROJECT SCHEDULER
Our global pharmaceutical client, based in central Switzerland, is currently undertaking a new build project of a high-spec, automated facility of the future. They are building the project team and need experienced and confident individuals to support.
LOCATION: Central Switzerland.
DURATION: 12 months.
ROLE:
- Review and manage the project schedule for the large-value CAPEX project.
- Interface and align with key Service Providers of Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management.
- Be able to understand the challenges which engineering teams are facing during the several engineering phases.
- Manage all discipline components of schedules (as required) and set the main schedule drivers, timelines and deliverables.
- Evaluate schedules supplied by contractors and/or suppliers.
- Supporting Project Manager and Project Team in achieving project deliverables on time and within budget.
- Supports the Project Team to determine and mitigate Risks by performing assessments.
- Supports the Project Team by providing regulars reports covering the overall schedule; measurement against targets, and schedule variances; resource planning; Subcontractors schedule requirements; critical path analysis; variance analysis.
- Develop close working relationships with Projects Manager and Project Staff
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Previous experience as a project scheduler for a new build project in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
- Previous projects experience should be for CAPEX values in excess of €500 million.
- Proven project and schedule management excellence demonstrated over multiple assignments.
- This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Pharmaceutical product development, manufacturing facilities and plant operations are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills necessary to support a high performing group of technical professionals.
- SME in respect to schedule software like MS Projects.
- Fluent German language skills essential, some English language knowledge required.
