Project Request Consultant

We are currently looking for a Project Request Consultant for a big client of us in The Hague. The team where you will be working in sits within the PMO organization to act as an advocate for the company to external infrastructure suppliers. In their role, they will routinely interact with and help resolve commercial issues between the company and supplier project managers, PMO organizations and management. The Project Request Consultant helps ensure that projects are initiated efficiently by reviewing project requests, assessing size and scale of the project, and submitting the projects to suppliers for review and proposal development. You will review the proposals submitted by the suppliers for clarity, adherence to contract terms and the projects development methodologies. Together, the team will intervene as needed either negotiating with the supplier directly or by facilitating conversations with the company and supplier representatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Project initiation of infrastructure projects. Project review, assessment and assigning to supplier
- Intervene to ensure that projects start smoothly, and that targets for project initiation are met/exceeded
- Review project change requests for accuracy and adherence to critical service level rules
- Protect the company's commercial interest by ensuring that all projects are correctly assessed for chargeability, and that 3rd party suppliers comply with contract commercial terms. Works closely with contracts and procurement to resolve disputes.
