Project Quality Engineer

Project Quality Engineer required for a world leading Oil & Gas advanced technology & services company to take on a key role within the Subsea Services Centre of Excellence and will provide the Quality leadership for major projects within the Subsea Services business.

The Project Quality Engineer will be delegated the responsibility for establishing and maintaining the project's Quality Plan, Quality Surveillance Plan, project procedures and the reliability management process.

The PQE will be responsible for all Quality Assurance matters within the project:

- Lead and coordinate the project's Quality Plan and for the D Initiate corrective actions as required to maintain/correct quality deficiencies
- Be the interface with the customer and with third parties on quality matters
- EHS- lead by example, promote the EHS message, both externally and internally

The role must interface with the Customer, Functional Teams and Regional Managers as required across both Subsea CoE and Services.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

- Thorough understanding of Oil & Gas specific quality principles, regulatory quality systems, internal business systems, and processes is essential.
- Communication and Inclusiveness. Able to bring the organization together to serve the customer and make clear what the customer requirements are and implement them in diverse functional and regional areas.
- Travel globally may be required.
- Bachelor's degree with at least seven years experience in a manufacturing environment or equal, Oil & Gas experience is essential
- Knowledge of ISO 9001including internal/lead assessor qualification
- Ability to interact with internal, external entities and customers, including third parties
- Experience conducting Quality Assurance Audits
- Technical writing, audit training, and excellent communication skills are necessary
