A leading first tier automotive company based in the West Midlands is currently looking for a Quality Engineer to support continued success and growth.

The responsibilities of the Quality Engineer / APQP Engineer are as follows:
• Act as the main point of contact for any customer concerns for leading OEM's
• PPAP/APQP submissions through new product launch
• Investigation and resolution of customer complaints
• APQP submissions and PSW approvals

To fulfil these requirements you must have the following skills/experience:
• Quality Engineering experience within the automotive industry
• Experience of completing PPAP submissions (FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, etc.)
• Strong problem solving skills - 8D, 5Y, PPS, etc.
• Strong commercial awareness and excellent customer service skills
• First tier / OEM experience is an advantage
• Good understanding of TS16949
• Excellent communication skills
