Our client is a market leading EPC Contractor, with an enviable track record of providing extensive expertise to Oil and Gas projects across the globe. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Quality & Risk Manager to join their team based in London.

Key aims and objectives:
To support the Project Senior management in achieving specific Project Quality requirements

Prime responsibilities & duties:
The preparation, issue and revision of the contract Quality Management Plan and
Assurance Strategies in conjunction with the Project Manager
Assist in the development of Project Goals and Objectives in line with company
requirements.
Ensure Quality risks are managed in accordance with the risk management system
Direct project process owners in establishing their delivery processes and procedures
Ensure by audit and review that a robust and effective Quality Assurance process is
established and implemented
Recommend corrective and preventative action where necessary to ensure its
effective implementation and improvement
To convene and attend meetings concerning project Quality Management matters as
appropriate
Provide input and support the subcontractor/supplier evaluation processes and
monitor subcontractor/supplier performance
To plan and lead (as necessary), assessment visits/audits to suppliers and sub
contractors as agreed
To ensure robust Quality Control plans are in place for all suppliers and sub-
contractors
To promptly report to corporate any Quality Management problems which cannot
be resolved at project level
To act as the liaison between the Project and the customer on all matters related to Project Quality Management
To ensure that the necessary processes and systems are in place for the preparation
and filing of comprehensive records to satisfy Project and customer Quality
Management requirements, as well as regulatory requirements
Implement and manage a continuous improvement process, including a process of
management system review
To organize/perform induction sessions at the commencement of, and during the
course of the project with the aim of explaining the project Quality Management
System
Facilitate the implementation of a customer satisfaction measurement process.
Comply with the Quality Management Roles and Responsibilities specific to position as defined in the Project Delivery Plan
Review and endorse requisitions for compliance with project requirements

Qualifications/Training:
Essential
HNC/HND in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent
Member/Associate of Chartered Quality Institute
Lead Auditor/Assessor

Desirable
UK BachelorEURs Degree or equivalent

Experience/Competencies:
Essential
Proven track record of QA Project Management offshore (oil & gas)
experience from an EPC design office environment
Experience of process and system auditing
Experience of project management control, design verification
Experience of Supplier and subcontractor management
Good knowledge of management systems including ISO 9001:2008 and its
application to projects
Good all round knowledge and experience with EU Directives including PED, ATEX etc
Must have the ability to manage, to interface with others, and to communicate well
at all levels
Must have the commitment to identify, analyse and propose solutions to problems in a constructive and positive manner
