Projet Planner - Programme Planner
Our client, a leading bank, are looking to hire a Project/Programme planning professional in Brussels to become part of their EMEA Corporate Programme Management Office. The purpose of the role is to provide a Project planning support across a number of regulatory and strategic projects. This person will work closely with Senior PMO and interact with various stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing and maintaining project plans in MS Project.
- The writing and delivery of reports on performance, compared against the project plan.
- Assisting in implementing change requirements to the programme.
- Producing and routine maintaining the programme RAID log.
- Facilitating status meetings, issue resolution and risk mitigation alongside the Programme Manager
- Keeping track of the completion of actions and accuracy of meeting minutes.
- Proactively identifying issues and risks within a project, and manage changes to the scope and project requirements through a formal process.
- Escalating issues as needed.
- Providing direction and training to other PMO staff as necessary.
- Conducting other project related duties as agreed with the Programme Manager.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Effectively use Microsoft Office applications (including MS Project) and PC proficiency in Windows-based programs.
- Knowledge and experience of the regulatory space.
- Two to five years' experience in a project office environment.
- Knowledge of the Asset servicing/custody industry or related financial services.
- Strong planning and project organization skills.
- Good negotiation, decision making, problem solving, influencing skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong reporting skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a high pressure, high volume environment.
