PROJECT/PROGRAMME DIRECTOR

My client is about to the start the process of delivering a full BSS transformation solution.

They should have a detailed background in BSS (or other enterprise software solution) and a proven track of successful delivering large and complex transformation programmes including managing diverse teams of 100 people in a multi-cultural environment with an off-shore, near-shore and on-shore delivery model.

They should be willing to help and coach their team, to interact with them and to support them for their professional growth. They will have deep exposure to solution shaping and in sales activities (Statement of Work, estimation tools, contractual negotiation, scope refinement), as well as scope and change request management.

Their key responsibilities will include:

- Development of the Programme Delivery Plan
- Management of the Project Managers and Stream Leads
- Accountable for delivery of the solution as specified in the FRS
- Engagement of AI staff, contractors and sub-contractors
- Project financial management including invoicing
- Change request management
- Project Management skills and reviews of plans with Stream Leads
- Jeopardy and escalation management
- Strong focus on customer commitments, delivery plan and time line.
- Ability to see the delivery holistically with good system Integration experience and understanding

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate outstanding experience of customer solutions management, on time delivery and people and project management skills. They will have excellent customer facing skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES.

Take the overall responsibility for the customer solution and complex customer business engagements.

Translate, analyse and define customer requirements.

Drive the definition, dimensioning & scoping of the total customer solution with the assigned solution team.

Ensure alignment of the customer solution with portfolio strategy.

Drive the scope definition, cost calculation and planning for different players

Set-up, lead and deliver the program as defined in the program specification, taking responsibility for contract execution, strategy and risk exposure including negotiation with the customer, internal and/or external suppliers and contractors.

Manage operational relationship with the customer to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.

Manage contract changes and/or amendments during the contract execution.

Secure delivery compliance to both contractual and business case requirements.

Identify and drive potential sales opportunities/add-on sales.

Act as a Coach to develop own program team to support them for professional growth and by identifying and developing talent.
