PROJECT/PROGRAM MANAGER SEATTLE, WA 6 MONTH CONTRACT

We are currently seeking a creative, dynamic and motivated IT Analyst to work with a 3rd Party safety system vendor on behalf of the worlds leading online retail company. Under general direction, you will act as a lead to develop, design, document, maintain, evaluate, support and provide problem resolution for information systems applications; perform a variety of technical and analytical services; analyze, evaluate and train users on Mainframe computer system; perform other related duties as assigned. This role exists in a challenging environment within a fast-growing office.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Information Systems Management

- Working with vendor, set up company access via Intranet VPN tunnel
- Secure user access and leveraging tunnel for authentication
- Develop IPsec capable VPN Router/Firewall to connect to hosting environment
- Lead integrations between company-specific IT systems and vendor; this would include scoping data specifications, method of transfer, frequency, etc. to establish connection and maintain on an on-going basis, along with importing of historical data
- Provide support to add vendor to company email/web browsing filters
- Coordinate with vendor on all user requests and issue resolution needs
- Make ongoing changes as necessary to the business entity hierarchy structure to reflect changes in business operations
- Designate responsible users by operating entity and application
- Manage the business email sender account and coordinate with business IT, regarding to integration and other application access and deployment aspects
- Ensure information system strategies are aligned with business needs
- Test, troubleshoot and resolve issues with software functionality
- Perform technical adjustments and install technical updates to system
- Maintain, analyze, evaluate and update integrity and security settings
- Maintain detailed accounting of users and security access to system software
- Audit, modify, and amend data in systems
- Monitor and report on system usage

Training and Technical Assistance

- Provide technical direction and consultation to users
- Review new user requests, grant and approve permissions and liaise with users designated with responsibilities with their respective organizational entities and/or applications
- Formulate, assist and support users with application training and technical support
- Set up and maintains users on Mainframe computer system including creating and maintaining software functions for users
- Create, assemble, and distribute procedure/training manuals and materials to users
- Conduct in-service training sessions
- Set up processes and procedures, and assist users in implementing new system modules and updating existing modules
- Review, evaluate and implement recommendations for improved methods or procedures
- Monitor the authorized users list and follow-up on inactive users and the transfer of designated responsibilities and active assignments

Data Reporting

- Monitor and report to management any deviation from procedures or policy
- Oversee and manage multiple concurrent projects
- Support existing products and services by acting as an agent for problem and operational issue resolution
- Establish and maintain a variety of file systems
- Organize and analyze data for efficient reporting and retrieval
- Assist users to retrieve data from system
- Develop procedures, forms, and other organizational tools to implement and manage efficient workflow
- Plan and prepare correspondence related to the position

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor s Degree in Networking, System Administration, Computer Science or other business/analytical discipline or 5+ years of experience
- Working knowledge to manage multiple IT platforms Oracle databases/products, Windows and SQL Server, and MySQL
- Fluent English required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/PC, including working knowledge of Excel and SQL
- Experience using various operating systems, software, hardware and networks
- Familiarity with utilization and purposes of management information systems, database structure and data verification methods

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with Safety systems and/or programs
- Excellent analytical, project management, verbal and written communication skills
- Progressively responsible experience in Business, Finance, Payroll and Personnel information systems
- Principles and operation of networks, operating systems, standard software applications, hardware and related peripheral equipment
- Basic principles of system analysis
- Principles of organization and project management
- Highly organized, ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little to no guidance and tight deadlines
- Good team player and the ability to work with a wide cross-section of people in various locations
- Impeccable attention to detail, passion for processes and systems
